Tickets

How to Get from Nagoya to Suzuka Circuit on Grand Prix Weekend

Suzuka Circuit is roughly 50–70 km south-west of central Nagoya — 60 to 90 minutes by car on a normal day. On Grand Prix days the roads around the circuit fill early, so your driver plans the departure time with you the evening before and builds in a buffer.

There are two realistic ways in: train and the organiser's shuttle buses, or a private car that takes you from your door to the circuit drop-off point. With a private transfer there is no transfer at a station, no queue for a shuttle, and your luggage, camera gear and merchandise stay with you.

Pickup points

We collect you at Chubu Centrair International Airport (NGO) arrivals, Nagoya Station or the lobby of any Nagoya hotel — all at the same fixed fare.

After the chequered flag

Transfers are sold as round trips, so your return is already booked: your driver waits at a pre-arranged meeting point near the circuit at an agreed time, and you leave while everyone else is still looking for a taxi.

Fares are per vehicle, not per person. The Nagoya fares are the same fixed round-trip fares we charge for any Suzuka race weekend — see our standard Nagoya to Suzuka Circuit transfer page. We do not offer one-way transfers to the circuit. For other departure points, message us your dates and hotel.

Three-day, same-driver bookings

Three-day bookings are priced on request because they depend on your hotel, daily timings and group size: message us on WhatsApp with your dates and we will reply with a written quote. Vehicles are limited on each route — book early and enquire now to secure your dates.

Three Days, One Driver: Sprint Qualifying to the Chequered Flag

With the Sprint format there is something to see on all three days, and most of our Grand Prix guests travel to the circuit every day. For multi-day bookings from Nagoya we assign one driver to your group for the whole weekend rather than a different driver each morning.

Frequently Asked Questions: Suzuka F1 2027 Transfers

When is the 2027 Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka?
Friday 9 to Sunday 11 April 2027, per Suzuka Circuit's announcement of 16 September 2026. It is the first Japanese Grand Prix run in the Sprint format: Sprint Qualifying on Friday, the Sprint and Grand Prix Qualifying on Saturday, and the Grand Prix on Sunday. Always confirm the latest schedule on suzukacircuit.jp.
How far is Suzuka Circuit from Nagoya, and how long does the drive take?
Suzuka Circuit is roughly 50–70 km from central Nagoya depending on your starting point, which is 60–90 minutes by car in normal traffic. On Grand Prix days we build in extra time for congestion around the circuit, and your driver confirms the departure time with you the evening before.
How do I get from Nagoya to Suzuka Circuit for the F1 weekend?
You can travel by train and the organiser's shuttle buses, or door-to-gate by private car. Hire Taxi Japan collects you at Chubu Centrair International Airport (NGO), Nagoya Station or your Nagoya hotel, drives you to the circuit, and picks you up again at a pre-arranged meeting point after the session.
How much does a private transfer to Suzuka cost for the Grand Prix?
Our fixed round-trip fares from Nagoya are ¥90,000 for a Toyota Alphard (1–4 passengers) and ¥110,000 for a Toyota Hiace (4–9 passengers). From Kyoto, Nara or Osaka the round-trip fares are ¥120,000 (Alphard) and ¥140,000 (Hiace). Fares are per vehicle and transfers are sold as round trips only. Three-day Grand Prix bookings from Nagoya with the same driver are quoted individually: message us on WhatsApp with your dates, group size and hotel.
Can we have the same driver on Friday, Saturday and Sunday?
Yes. For multi-day bookings from Nagoya we assign one English-speaking driver to your group for the whole weekend, so your hotel, pickup times and meeting point are agreed once on Friday and repeated on Saturday and Sunday.
Can you pick us up at Chubu Centrair Airport (NGO)?
Yes. Pickup at Chubu Centrair International Airport, Nagoya Station or any Nagoya hotel is included at the same fixed fare.
Where does the driver drop us off and meet us after the race?
At a pre-arranged point near the circuit that we confirm with you before the weekend, based on the organiser's traffic arrangements for that year's Grand Prix. Your return time is fixed in advance, so you are not queuing for a taxi or shuttle after the chequered flag.
When do tickets for the 2027 Japanese Grand Prix go on sale, and do you sell them?
Tickets go on sale on 15 November 2026 at 11:00 JST through MobilityStation, Suzuka Circuit's official online shop. Hire Taxi Japan does not sell or resell race tickets; we provide transport only.
Have you worked Formula 1 weekends at Suzuka before?
Yes. We have transferred teams and guests at previous Japanese Grands Prix and ran our fleet for the full Suzuka 1000km weekend on 11–13 September 2026. Vehicles are limited on each route, so we recommend enquiring early to secure your dates.
Can you move a large group, a sponsor party or a team?
Yes. Each Toyota Hiace carries up to nine passengers and we coordinate multi-vehicle convoys with a single point of contact. Send us the group size, hotel and daily schedule and we will plan the fleet with you.
We are staying in Kyoto, Nara or Osaka — can you take us to Suzuka?
Yes. Round-trip transfers from Kyoto, Nara and Osaka to Suzuka Circuit are ¥120,000 per Toyota Alphard (1–4 passengers) and ¥140,000 per Toyota Hiace (4–9 passengers). For any other departure point, message us your dates and hotel and we will get back to you.
