●8:00 Departure from Tokyo
Your private driver will pick you up from your hotel or designated location in Tokyo. Sit back and relax as we head towards Hakone, a scenic region famous for its hot springs, stunning views of Mount Fuji, and cultural sites.
●10:00 Hakone Shrine
Our first stop is Hakone Shrine, nestled in the dense forest at the foot of Mount Hakone. This Shinto shrine, with its iconic red torii gate standing on the waters of Lake Ashi, offers a picturesque setting for photos and a serene atmosphere for a spiritual start to the day.
●10:45 Lake Ashi Sightseeing Cruise
Enjoy a scenic boat ride across Lake Ashi, where you can admire the breathtaking views of Mount Fuji (weather permitting) and the lush surroundings. The cruise provides a unique perspective of the area and is one of the best ways to experience Hakone’s natural beauty.
●11:30 Owakudani ValleyWe drive to Owakudani
an active volcanic valley known for its hot springs and sulfur vents. Here, you can try the famous “black eggs” (Kuro-tamago), boiled in the region’s natural hot spring water, which are said to extend your life by seven years!
●12:15 Lunch at a Local Restaurant
Enjoy a delicious Japanese meal at one of Hakone’s renowned restaurants. Options include fresh sashimi, tempura, soba noodles, or a traditional kaiseki meal with local specialties.
●13:30 Hakone Open-Air Museum
Next, visit the Hakone Open-Air Museum, an expansive art park featuring impressive sculptures from renowned artists, including Picasso. This unique museum harmonizes art with nature, offering a relaxing and culturally enriching experience.
●14:30 Hakone Ropeway
Take a ride on the Hakone Ropeway for panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, Lake Ashi, and, on clear days, Mount Fuji. This aerial journey offers one of the best vantage points in the region.
●15:00 Hakone Yumoto Onsen (Optional)
If you’d like to unwind, we can stop at a traditional onsen (hot spring) in Hakone Yumoto. Experience a rejuvenating soak in mineral-rich waters, a perfect way to relax before heading back to Tokyo.
●16:00 Depart Hakone for Tokyo
We begin our return journey to Tokyo, reflecting on the incredible sights and experiences of the day.
●18:00 Arrive in Tokyo

Q&A
Q. When does the tour start and end?
– A. The tours start and end when the driver picks you up from your accommodation in Tokyo and drops you off at the end of the day. In the case of your accommodation being outside of Tokyo 23 Wards, your tour will start and end when the driver departs and arrives in Tokyo at the end of the day.
Q. What if there are several pickup/drop-off points?
– A. That’s no problem as long as the tour finishes on time.
Q. Can we cancel the tour when it rains for free?
– A. You can cancel the tour without a cancellation fee by the day before. We also check the weather forecast everyday and may suggest rescheduling the tour if the forecast isn’t good enough.
Q. Are there any extra fees if the pickup/finish time is late at night/ early morning?
– A. There will be no extra fee depending on the pickup/finishing time of the tour.
Q. Can our pets also join the tour?
– A. Sure, but please keep them in carrier bags/ travel crates.
Q. What does the price include?
– A. The price include toll fees, gas, parking lot fees, tax, etc. It doesn’t include fees for such as: lunch/food/beverage, entrance fee of tourist spots, fee of boats/cable cars, etc.
Q. What would the price be if we want to extend the tour?
– A. The extension fee is 5,000 yen/30 minutes.
Q. Will there be a refund if we finish the tour earlier than booked?
– A. There will be no refunds in case the tour finishes early. If the tour will finish earlier due to accidents, natural disasters, sudden sickness, etc., please contact us and we can discuss about it.
