●8:00 Leaving Your Hotel (Tokyo Area)
Your driver will pick you up from your hotel in Tokyo. The evening before your tour, we will contact you via WhatsApp to confirm pickup details. Please ensure you have the free app installed for easy communication.
●9:45 Hakone Open-Air Museum
Start your day at Japan’s first open-air museum. Set in the lush Hakone mountains, this summer-friendly space features large-scale sculptures by artists like Henry Moore and Picasso. The cool breeze and mountain air make this a refreshing experience, far from the city heat.

●11:15 Owakudani Valley
A must-visit in Hakone, Owakudani is a volcanic valley with active sulfur vents and bubbling hot springs. You can try the famous black eggs (“kuro-tamago”) boiled in natural spring water—said to add seven years to your life. On clear days, Mt. Fuji is visible in the background.

●12:30 Lunch at a Local Restaurant
Enjoy lunch with a view—perhaps a meal at a traditional restaurant offering wafu (Japanese-style) dishes such as tofu set meals, mountain vegetable soba, or even seasonal unagi (eel). Some restaurants near Lake Ashi offer lakeside seating with stunning scenery.

●14:00 Lake Ashi Cruise
Take a relaxing boat ride on Lake Ashi, a crater lake formed by volcanic activity. In summer, the green mountains reflect beautifully on the water. The iconic red torii gate of Hakone Shrine and potential views of Mt. Fuji make this a picturesque and peaceful experience.
Cruise fee: approx. ¥2,400 per person -one day ticket
●15:00 Hakone Shrine
Nestled in a forest along the lake, Hakone Shrine is known for its serene atmosphere and spiritual power spots. The bright red torii gate standing in the water is a popular photo spot. The shaded approach through tall cedar trees makes it a perfect summer walk.

●16:00 Hakone-Yumoto Town
Stroll through this charming hot spring town filled with souvenir shops, artisan crafts, and sweet treats like yosegi (woodcraft) and matcha soft cream. You can also stop by a footbath café to rest your legs and relax before heading back.
●18:00 Arriving at Your Hotel (Tokyo)
After a day of fresh air and cultural exploration, your driver will safely return you to your hotel in Tokyo.
