Exceptional service! HireTaxiJapan saved the day with a last minute booking for our group of 9 and 20 pieces of luggage from Tokyo to Narita. Communication via WhatsApp was quick and incredibly easy. Our driver arrived right on time, was very courteous, helped immensely with all our bags, and was great to talk to during the drive. They went above and beyond on such short notice. We decided to get the last minute private van pickup for 6 of us from Narita airport to our Airbnb. I was booking this from the plane which was to land in 5 hours. I searched google and tried contacting one company prior to Hire Taxi and it was completely booked. Then I tried Hire taxi Japan. They have WhatsApp that replied to me immediately. The person I chatted with had to ask her supervisor because it was a short notice. It took only 10 minutes and the answer was yes they could do it. We were so happy. The driver, Daniel, arrived early at the airport. We came out late because the line at the immigration was long. His communication through WhatsApp assured us that he was waiting for us at the exit holding my name sign. Overall, the whole process was smooth and we got to our place safely. The team managed to find a last-minute solution to transport our group of over 20 people from the airport to our hotel. We contacted them less than six hours before landing—while still on the plane—at a time when other companies had no booking options left; they met us right outside the terminal with a welcome sign to guide us to the taxis.
They were highly responsive and flexible in accommodating our schedule. Their drivers and vehicles are excellent. Highly recommended!

We booked transportation to and from the airport and cannot recommend Hire Taxi enough! Booking was seamless and easy to put in all of our details for pickup and drop off. Kevin was our driver for both trips and we loved his energy and getting to know him and life in Japan. He was on time, helped us with our bags, and very friendly. If I could give them 10 stars it would not be enough! We spent 10 days touring Japan first with Rue as a driver and then with Kenny and I cannot recommend them highly enough. We had a comfortable car taht gave us ample room to stretch our legs from city to city. We wanted to see as much of Japan as possible but did not want to drive. We got so much more than drivers!!!

At the onset the owner (Daniel) was very responsive in setting up our tour even though there is a 12 hour difference between us. A minor hiccup was that we did not realize we would have more than one driver for the different parts of our tour of Japan, so it caused a bit of a panic on the first day, when our driver Rue for  was not aware of the remainder off the journey. We were not told we would have 4 drivers. But Daniel immediately contacted us and we realized we were in good hands and the trip was simplified in that Kenny stayed on and we had only two drivers.

Both Rue and Kenny (our drivers) were exceptional—they became  trusted guides, a valuable resource into Japanese culture and friends during our travels. They were always  punctual, professional, courteous,  helpful with our luggage and other logistics as we moved from one hotel to another, and they were always attentive to our needs. Photo is of Kenny dropping us off at the train station after expertly navigating the logistics to meet our train. What impressed us most was their ability to adapt our plans when weather conditions changed, suggesting alternative destinations and experiences that often became highlights of our trip.

Both Rue and Kenny had knowledge of the areas we visited, and made thoughtful recommendations, and demonstrated a genuine desire to ensure we had the best possible experience which made our visit to Japan unforgettable! We always felt safe, comfortable, and well cared for.

Kenny became "family" and joined us in our activities even. By the end of our journey, we felt we had gained not only  exceptional drivers but also friends. Our time in Japan was enriched because of these two drivers and we are most happy we hired HireTaxiJapan. We will visit Japan again and will gladly hire them. We used Hire Taxi Japan in both Tokyo and Osaka. We did 3 different trips and all three we were gifted an amazing driver. His name was Ryu. I am a nervous passenger, however I never felt unsafe with Ryu at the wheel. He also went above and beyond to ensure our family had a stress free and enjoyable time with every stop. We were so lucky to have him. If we ever return, I will be requesting him. Thank you Ryu. 🙂
