My husband and I had a most memorable tour with Taro, our guide/driver with Hire Taxi Japan. Taro spoke English very well and was very knowledgeable on the culture and history of Japan. Taro was extremely kind and polite answering our many questions and helping us navigate our way to temples and streets. He picked us up early morning at Yokahomo port upon disembarking our cruise ship in a spacious and immaculately clean vehicle. We had to be at Narita airport by 3 pm and during that he was able to fit in the top sights of Tokyo without seeming too rushed. He even took us for lunch at the Tsukiji Fish Market where we had an one of the most delicious tempura of shrimp and veggies that we have ever had. He brought us to visit Meji Shrine and Senso-ji Temple where he addressed the differences between Shintoism and Buddhism and helped us buy a Goshuincho Book stamped at the shrine and temple making it a memorable souvenir. We walked through the interesting trendy Teshita Street and crossed with the crowds and Shibuya crossing. We also saw the exterior of the Imperial Palace. As our time was drawing to an end Taro pointed out many of the interesting buildings and sights as he drove us safely to the airport. We thank Taro for giving us a wonderful tour of Tokyo and recommend him as the best driver/guide in Tokyo for an extraordinary experience!

Our driver Kazu was great! We had a 10-hour private tour, and he showed us so many amazing Tokyo sights. We had given him a list of some things we wanted to see, plus he added in some great extras, and created a really entertaining itinerary for us. He was nice and funny, and knew lots of interesting facts and stories about Tokyo. Would 100% recommend him to anyone looking for a great tour!

We used Hire Taxi Japan for our recent visit to Japan. We used it to pick us up from Narita and take us to our hotel, as well as after our cruise was over to pick us up at the port, drive us around Tokyo to view cherry blossoms for the day, and then drop us off at Narita to fly home. Both drivers were on time, courteous and communicative before pick up via WhatsApp. The vehicles are nice, comfortable and even have a Wi-Fi connection. Would like to give a special thanks to our driver, Ryu, that drove us around Tokyo looking at the cherry blossoms. He could not have been friendlier and more accommodating. He would give us tips at each location, bought us sandwiches and bottled water because we didn't schedule time to stop and eat lunch, and even apologized that in some places the blossoms weren't out, as if he is responsible for trees blooming. Just an overall really nice experience and I would definitely use Hire Taxi Japan again if we travel to Japan and have no qualms about recommending that you do as well.

Taro guided elderly members of my family in the tour to Mt.Fuji - and he planned it well from the start to end time. He was able to take them to multiple stops in limited time and ensured that we get best out of the trip.
